Kugulu Park

This park is situated to the west side of the Kyrenia Gate, within the moat area. For the past 40 years, it has traditionally been used as a green recreational area.

The park originally had a pool, with swans swimming in it. That is how the Kugulu (swan) park got its name. it was an area where citizens of Nicosia visited for relaxation and social gatherings.

The park was renovated in 1993, and has been upgraded twice since then. It includes children's playgrounds and places for holding meetings, concerts and other social functions.
